Eddie Carter

Managing Director

Eddie prides himself on maintaining a personal service to his clients and is always at the end of the phone when needed.
Eddie is always pursuing his property interests, with a keen desire in developing his company, ensuring excellent customer service is achieved at all times. With such a passion with property Eddie enjoys the challenge of growing his personal property portfolio as well as a local property development business.
When he gets the chance you might spot Eddie surfing and kayaking … but if you can’t find him on or in the water, he’ll be spending time with his family and friends.

Scott West

Lettings Manager

Scott joined the company in 2012 as a Lettings Negotiator, dealing on a one to one personal basis with prospective tenants helping them in finding their “perfect property”

As lettings manager, he oversees the smooth operation of the Lettings department, while maintaining client relationships, expectations and quality customer service.

Scott enjoys training in the gym and has recently joined the property ladder, and can be found spending his spare time renovating his home.

Lauren Fillingham

Administration Manager

Lauren joined the company in September 2025 as Administration Manager, bringing over 17 years of experience in administrative roles across a variety of sectors.

She plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of each individual letting and oversees all aspects of office administration. Lauren’s strong organisational skills and attention to detail help keep operations efficient and clients well-supported.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, reading, and baking.

Alan Williams

Finance Manager

Alan’s role includes day to day working on all aspects of accounts within the company.

Alan enjoys spending time with his family. Alan’s interests include all sports … he is involved in the coaching of a local Youth football team and also occasionally still plays 5-aside. Alan is also a season ticket holder at Hereford FC. Alan enjoys keeping fit by cycling around the Gloucestershire countryside.

Alan relaxes by listening to music and reading. He also plays the trumpet (until he’s requested to stop by the family!!!).

Victoria Whitcher

Sales Manager / Property manager

Victoria joined the team in 2022 after working within the property sector for almost twenty years, spending an equal amount of her time in sales and lettings.

As property manager, she deals with the ongoing maintenance of the tenancies, whilst delivering excellent customer service and a wealth of knowledge.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, making a mean cocktail and learning to become a gardener.

Katie Westwood

Property Lettings and Management Assistant

Katie joined Charles Carter Lettings in 2020. Her role in the company involves everything from inspections to viewings and admin to marketing.

Katie is currently studying a Marketing focused degree at university as she continues working for the company remotely. She hopes to soon integrate this knowledge from her degree to benefit the company.

In her spare time Katie enjoys going out on the weekends with her friends at university. Any other downtime Katie has is spent with her family.

Tom Thornley

Letting’s Negotiator

Tom joined in 2021 as Lettings Assistant, since then Tom has moved up to a lettings negotiator, providing excellent customer service to both landlord and tenants helping the latter find their perfect rental home , alongside this Tom has integrated marketing & taking on of properties including Drone Footage, Video Walkthroughs & managing our YouTube channel & TikTok Media.

Outside of work fishing is Tom’s passion and enjoying his free time with his family Zoe & 2 children Lily & Henry.

Also he holds a great sense of humour bringing a good atmosphere into the team.

Laura Philpott

Property Manager

Laura joined Charles Carter in 2024 as a Property Manager, bringing with her over two and a half years of experience in the property industry.

Valued for her attention to detail and dedication to delivering excellent client service, she plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient property management.

Outside of work, Laura leads an active lifestyle. She enjoys going to the gym, playing touch rugby, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Chelsea Evans

Property Manager

Chelsea joined the team in July 2025 as property manager and has 8 years experience in the property sector, predominantly in Sales and Relocation services.
As property manager, Chelsea deals with the ongoing maintenance of the tenancies, whilst delivering excellent customer service and a wealth of knowledge and hopes to add to her established portfolio.

In her spare time you can find her meandering around antique stores hunting for treasure, reading the latest book release, grafting at her allotment or spending time with her partner, friends and family. She also has two cats that she adores, and who run her ragged.
